Focus DIY Going Cheap

Focus DIY bought out for a pound.

The DIY retailer focus DIY has been bought up for a single pound, sounds bad doesn't it.

The DIY retailer has been purchased by a private equity firm called Cerberus, who have pledged to pay off the company's debt of 174 million paying 40pence in the pound to bondholders of the company.

The proud new owners of Focus DIY are bringing the former director of Wikes DIY in an attempt to revive the Focus DIY business.

The Perfect Shower

There is nothing quite like a good shower, so I thought I would post about the perfect shower.

No one has time to have a bath these days showers are so much easier to have a quick shower rather than a soak in the bath. Don't get me wrong I am a big fan of having a soak in the bath sometimes only a soak in the bath will do, recovering after the first day of snowboarding for example.

The elements for a perfect shower

  • Good water pressure
  • Different settings on the shower head
  • Good Soap

Lawnmower Guide

Choosing a Lawnmower

Summer is fast approaching and soon all the hay fever sufferers among us will be sneezing and wiping our eyes as everyone starts cutting the grass. So I thought it would be the perfect time to add a Lawnmower Guide to DIY Focus, hay fever Sufferers Beware!! The Lawnmowers will be out soon enough.

First thing is first how many types of Lawnmower can you get? There are four main types of lawnmower and these in no specific lawnmower preference are.

Electric Lawnmowers, Petrol Lawnmowers, Cylinder Lawnmowers and last but not least Rotary Lawnmowers

Electric Lawnmowers

I would recommend getting an electric lawnmower if you have a small garden to maintain as a small electric lawnmower will serve your purposes well and if you have limited space in your garden shed an electric lawnmower will not take up too much storage space.
